Contacting Book Publishing houses

I called and emailed Bloomsbury Publishing, HarperCollins and Olympia Publishers on August 27 and 28. Sadly, my attempts to get first hand experience were unsucessful and a tiny bit frustrating. When calling the companies, I got put on hold and transferred to diffrent sectors of the company, even when I stated clearly to transfer me to the design department. I still kept my patience during the calls and the transfers, in the end I was either transferred to other departments or the poeple that I was looking for was not available at the time which is undestandable as book designers and art diretors go to a lot of meetings.

After the calls I emailed the publishing houses. I tried searching for specific emails or social media sites for the design department but I did not find an way to contact them. I resorted to contacting them through general enquiry I still have not got any responses from them.
