How to interview artists?

I've already interviewed professionals in the art industry for my Art subject and personal blog, such as fine artists and art directors so I have a basic knowledge of how I'll interview book cover deisgners. However, I still researched into the questions that I should ask them and ask other people on what questions they think would be useful for me to ask.
I looked at diffrent sites online which gives diffrent possible questions that I can ask artists. These sites are :

As the one of the post suggested, before interviewing them (or even contacting them!) I researched about them to make sure that I'm not asking them a question that already has an answer available on the internet. Altough, it might still be helpful to ask as they might expand on it further. Hopefully I can meet up with the designers face to face but some of them live far away (i.e. United States) so I'll be limited to emailing them which will make it hard to make the interview a conversational type.
